Tipeshwar wildlife sanctuary in Yavatmal district is a secluded national park in Maharashtra. The tipeshwar forest allows you to explore large varieties of wildlife species!

This sanctuary is located in Pandarkawada region of Yavatmal district that covers an area of 148.63 sq.km. Particularly, the sanctuary lies amidst the Patanbori and Parwa Ranges of the Pandarkawad Forest Division. This sanctuary is popular known for its hilly-undulating terrain and wildlife diversity. The Tipeshwar wildlife sanctuary derives its name from the ‘Goddess Tipai’ situated near the Tipeshwar village in the sanctuary region.

This sanctuary is not known to many people hence less number of people visit Tipeshwar national park. Various villages are situated amidst the sanctuary region and local people depend on the forest for their daily activities. As sanctuary is situated in a very remote region of Maharashtra, it has a rich wildlife and bio-diversity.

Rivers like Krishna, Purna, Bhima and Tapti irrigates the sanctuary from all sides. Due to abundant water from all these rivers, it is also called as Green Oasis (watering place) of the Southern Maharashtra. The temperature of the region mostly remains pleasant all year round. The tipeshwar wildlife sanctuary area is actually a basalt area formed by the explosion of lava a century back. This region is highly appreciated for the variety of flora like herbs, grasses, bamboo forests and animal life.

This sanctuary is surrounded by many popular wildlife reserves like Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhamragarh Wildlife Reserve, Nagzira National Forest, Navegaon National Park, Bor Wildlife Sanctuary, Pench National Park and Painganga National Park. Therefore, tigers from these sanctuaries usually enter inside the Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary.

This forest acts as a home to 29 species of mammals, 160 species of birds and 26 species of reptiles. Out of 26 species of reptiles, 6 falls under endangered category.

ITINERARY

Day 0:
07:05 pm: Start Journey towards Wardha by train from CSMT(Vidarbha Express)
Day 1:
07:30 am:Reach Wardha Junction and proceed to Tipeshwar.
09:30 am:Breakfast Enroute.
11:00 am:Reach Hotel at Pandarkawada and Freshen up.
01:00 pm:Have a Lunch.
02:30 pm:After Lunch leave for 1st Jungle Safari.
05:30 pm:Back to Hotel.Tea and snacks.
07:00 pm:Discussion about safari.
09:00 pm:Have a Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel.


Day 2:
05:00 am:Wake up call
05:30 am:Proceed Morning jeep safari.
11:00 am:Back to hotel where your breakfast awaits you.
01:00 pm:Have a Lunch.
02:30 pm:After lunch proceed for 3rd Jungle Safari.
05:30 pm:Get Back to hotel.Tea and Snacks.
07:00 pm: Sharing Experience.
09:00 pm:Have a Dinner.


Day 3:
05:00 am:Wake up call
05:30 am:Early Morning jungle Safari.
11:00 am:Back to Hotel  and Freshen up.
11:30 am:Leave for Wardha Station.Lunch Enroute.
06:30 pm:Start return journey from Wardha Station.
(5:50 Samarsata Express,6:17 Vidarbha Express)


Day 4:
06:00 am:Reach Mumbai.

Inclusions:
● Pickup and Drop from Wardha to Wardha in A/C Vehicle
● Accommodation in Hotel on Triple Sharing Basis in AC Rooms
● Transfers from hotel to Safari gate (15kms approximately)
● All Meals at Tippeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary
● 4 Tiger Safari in open gypsy


Exclusions:
● Taxes as applicable
● Train/flight Tickets from Mumbai- Nagpur and Return.
● Meals during Train Journey.
● Any Camera Charges.
● Any Other Expense other than mentioned above.

Cancellation and Refund applicable on the tour cost:

● If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
● If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded.
● After that no refund will be provided.

● Tripod will be helpful to avoid shake as there will be low light
● Umbrella or Poncho/Cap

● In mountains & jungles, smoking attracts honeybees and one has to face dangerous "honeybee attack" where survival of the person is difficult, hence smoking is strictly prohibited.
● Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
● Leader's decision will be final and binding.
● Small Steps Adventures reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
● Telephonic confirmation for booking is mandatory; if unable to contact us then send a text message and we will call you back.
● Please do not carry handbags or Jholas or Sling bags on treks.
● Please do not carry or wear any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. If carried, then we do not take any liability for the same.
