ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrive at Manali, Drive to Jagatsukh Village. Start Trek to Baggi (3 - 5 kms). Overnight stay in a Camps

Meet at Rambaugh Circle, Manali at 8 am where we will proceed towards Jagatsukh Village in our transfer vehicle. From Jagatsukh we will start our trek to Baggi via Bhanara village. Today is the day to climb stairs and more stairs. In about an hour or so you will walk across the lanes of Bhanara village enjoying the stares and smiles from the villagers. You will also come across Apple Orchards and if you get lucky you can pluck one from the tree as well.  After a steep climb from the Bhanara village we will reach our first campsite Baggi.

Day 2: Trek from Baggi to Soratu (5 - 7 kms). Afternoon trek to the Hampta Circle range view point (4 - 6 Kms). Overnight stay in camps

We will start our trek from Baggi heading to our next campsite. While trekking, enjoy the glimpses of Manali city in the midst of mountains. The trek has some open patches where one can rest comfortably for a while. As we gain height by hiking, we will come by a place called Tiligan, which is a water stream with huge boulders. The view from here is mesmerizing as you witness the Pirpanjal range. Hanuman Tibba and Friendship Peak are the major attractions of this point. Pass through the temporary houses made by the Gujjars – local herding community and reach our campsite at Soratu. After finishing our lunch, we will start our trek to view the Hampta Circle Range. Enjoy the stunning view of Hampta Circle Range and descend down to our campsite to spend the night.

Day 3: Trek from Soratu to Jugudu (5 - 7 Kms). Overnight stay in camps.

We will start our beautiful trek today to reach our next campsite at Jugudu. Start climbing towards the direction of Phakonda Range. As you gain height the vegetation reduces drastically which you would observe. Watch the Beas River making its way cutting through valleys of the Himalayas. After a while come across big water stream which you will have to cross. One you cross the stream you will enter the forest of Oak and Rhododendron trees. This forest is hub of various birds and test your eye to recognizing those. Pass through Jungle and after a small descend, reach our campsite of the day.

Day 4: Trek from Jugudu to Kharmidari and Raudikholi Range gain (4 - 6 Kms)

Our trek today will be relatively easy. We will leave from Jugudu, coming out of the Jungle and move towards Kharmidari passing through Gujjar’s Settlements. The settlement view in such a surrounding is beautiful. We will reach our campsite after passing these settlements. Post reaching the campsite, we will head to take a view of Raudikholi range to fill our eyes with the amazing sight. Head back to campsite for dinner and stay.

Day 5: Trek from Kharmidari to Jobri (5 Kms) and drive to Manali.

Today we will descend our way to Jobri. This descend is mainly through Oak and Pine forests. Jobri is actually the starting point of Hampta Pass Trek which is the only connection with Hampta Pass. We will reach Jobri around 4 hours after ogling around the Pine and Oak trees. From Jobri we will head back to Manali in our transfer vehicle.
