Nagarhole National Park is located near Mysuru in the State of Karnataka. It is 22 kms and 92 kms away from Bangalore and Mysuru respectively.

Nagarhole National Park is widely spread across Kodagu and Mysuru districts. It is also referred as Rajiv Gandhi National Park. The park has decent population of Tigers, Large Elephants and Bisons. Nagarhole National Park is also home for around 250 species of birds. It is surrounded by Kabini River at the north and Bandipur National Park in the south. The forest is also populated with trees like Teak, Sandalwood, Silver Oak and many more.

Flight Suggestions:
Start Journey: Mumbai to Bangalore: Go Air: 06:00 am - 07:40 am
Return Journey: Bangalore to Mumbai: Indigo: 07:35 pm - 09:10 pm Or Indigo: 09:30 pm - 11:15 pm 

Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to our Resort

Meet at our Resort around 2 pm. Rest for a while and we will leave for the First Jungle Safari.

Jungle Safari – Uno

Test your lenses of the camera and your eyes as you spot various wild animals in the Nagarhole National Park. Experience the thrill and joy of being in a live Jungle. The Safari will be of around 2 – 3 hours so make most of it.

Evening Tea and Snacks

Return back to the Resort and share your experience over a cup of hot tea and evenings snacks. Take ample rest till dinner time.

Dinner Delight

Feast on the local delicacies freshly cooked by the villagers. Post dinner, we will discuss about our schedule for the next day. Sleep early and sleep well as we will be having a big day tomorrow.

Day 2

Good Morning Guys

Wake up around 5 am. Enjoy the morning Tea and head for the 2nd Jungle Safari. Please do carry some ready to eat food as it may take a while to return for breakfast.

Jungle Safari – Dos

Greet the National Park and the various wild animals with the morning wishes. To encounter such freshness of air in the morning in the live Jungle is an unbelievable experience.

Breakfast is calling

Head to the resort to enjoy the breakfast which will be simple but healthy. Rest time till Lunch. Post Lunch, we will head to the National Park again.

Jungle Safari – Tres

Enter the National Park hoping to view an encounter of the Wild Languid Cat with other animals. Get a chance to witness the survival of the prey, or the killing of the hunter.

Evening Tea and Snacks

Return back to the Resort and share your experience over a cup of hot tea and evenings snacks. Take ample rest till dinner time.

Bid Adieu to the National Park and the numerous wild animals who had made your Safari experience a memorable one.

Breakfast is calling

Head to the resort to enjoy the breakfast which will be simple but healthy. Post breakfast, head back to your home town.

● Dull Colored Clothes (Please don’t wear Bright colored Clothes)

● Cap, goggle, sunscreen, moisturizer etc.
● Sport shoes or Kitos/ sandal
● Electral powder/ Glucon D
● Binocular/ Camera with lenses (Optional)
● Water Bottle (3 litres must)
● Odomos (Mosquito Repellent)
● Tripod will be helpful to avoid shake as there will be low light
● Umbrella or Poncho/ Cap

Rules

● In mountains & jungles, smoking attracts honeybees and one has to face dangerous "honeybee attack" where survival of the person is difficult, hence smoking is strictly prohibited.
● Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
● Leader's decision will be final and binding.
● Small Steps Adventures reserves all the right to change/ deviate/ cancel the plans without prior notice.
● Telephonic confirmation for booking is mandatory; if unable to contact us then send a text message and we will call you back.
● Please do not carry handbags or Jholas or Sling bags on treks.
● Please do not carry or wear any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. If carried, then we do not take any liability for the same
