New Year Night Trek and Camping at Prabalmachi

Prabalmachi is located near Panvel Taluka of Raigad District. It is 65 km and 110 km away from Mumbai & Pune respectively. A trek of around 2 hours through dense Jungle which will take you to the campsite. This Machi or Plateau is base for Kalavantin and Prabalgad where you can camp and stay overnight.

Many people rest at the Machi at night and start their trek to Kalavantin or Prabalgad early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise and a 360-degree view from the top.

We are Waiting for you

Meet at Panvel Railway Station at 6:30 pm. We will move in the transfer vehicle to Thakurwadi which is the base village of Prabalgad/ Kalavantin.

Trek to Join the Celebration

We will reach the base village around 7:30 pm. Post round of Introduction and Instructions we will start the trek to Prabalmachi, our camping site. (IMP Note: Drinking Achohle & Smoking is strictly not allowed)

Dinner First

After around 2 hours of trek, we will reach Prabal Machi. Before we begin the Bonfire and Fun Games session, enjoy the delicious dinner cooked by the villagers.

Let the Party Begin

Post Dinner, join for the Fun Games session and a round of Antakshari. Do not be shy in raising your voice. It’s party time. Wish your fellow trekkers and your friends a Happy New Year.

First Morning of 2019

Good Morning Guys, Happy New Year. Freshen up and fill your stomach with the delicious breakfast cooked by the villagers. Wish them Happy New year and head to Thakurwadi by 9 am to move to Panvel Station in the transfer vehicle.

Rules: 

● In Mountains & Jungles, smoking attracts honeybees and one has to face dangerous "honeybee attack" where survival of the person is difficult, hence smoking is strictly prohibited.
● Drinking Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
● Leader's Decision will be Final and Binding.
