One of the adventurous pass in Himachal Pradesh India, this pass connects the fertile and lush Parvati valley on Kullu side with Pin valley on Spiti side. It is quite a popular pass. Also Pin Parvati is one of the challenging treks in Himalayas. It enthralls you with the challenges and leaves a trace of accomplishment in you.
The technical details are it is at the altitude of 4810 m, it is difficult level trek, and the pickup point would be Patlikuhal in Manali.

|WEAR||Comfortable warm clothing, trekking boots, gloves, jacket, raincoat and sunscreen.|
we will get down at Patlikuhal from bus (20 km from Manali). Jeep ride to Rumsu base camp. After freshening and breakfast we will undergo a registration process. There will be acclimatization exercise post lunch. Orientation session will take place and will have an overnight stay at Rumsu base camp.
we will leave the base camp in the morning by 8 am with packed breakfast and lunch. There will be a jeep ride from Rumsu to Barshaini. We will trek from Barshaini till Kheer Ganga; it takes around 4 to 5 hours to complete the trek. The trek is easy with not much ascend. There is small village called Nathan. This place is known for its hot water spring.
we will start the trek from Kheer Ganga to Tunda Bhuj, the trek around 5 to 6 hours. The route is quite easy and has a moderate ascend. The entire route runs on left side of Parvati River. Gujjar settlements are found at Tunda Bhuj.
this trek is a normal plain; there are two wooden bridges that need to be crossed, after crossing the river there is a climb of about 1 hour to reach Thakur Kuan. The campsite is a beautiful big plain ground on the left side of Parvati River.
The trek takes around 6 to 7 hours and runs almost plain with some intermediate ascend. On the way we come across two difficult bridges on the ways which are made up of individual rock boulders. The bridge is known as Pandav Bridge. A beautiful plain ground comes across on the way known as Rubi Thach. Mantalai is a place where it is believed that Parvati resides in lake form. Being religious significant place idols of Lord Shiva and Ganesh can be seen on the bank; views from here are very picturesque.
The main ascend of trek starts from Mantalai till Parvati side base camp. There is a big stream that comes on the way known as Kala khor Nallah. We will cross the Nallah early in in the morning when the flow is minimum. We will then start with ascend till Parvati side base camp.
we will start this trek early in the morning by 6 AM so that the hard snow patch can be crossed before sun comes out and makes it slippery. Peaks like South Parvati and Ganesh can be seen just before reaching the pass. The top of Pass has a small temple. Descend from Pin side base camp is moderately average. After descend is done, we will cross the pin Nallah with the help of rope to reach pin side base camp.
the last day of trek is easy and almost plain but long. The initial part of the trek goes on left side of pin Nallah. The route then joins to a road to reach Mud village. The total distance is around 35 kms.
the next morning after breakfast we will start with jeep ride of Kaza. It is a scenic jeep ride. There are many monasteries in Kaza which can be explored.
early morning at 6 am we will start for Manali from kaza. We will come across famous Kunzum top (4590 m) which connects Kullu valley and Lahaul valley with Spiti alley. Departure by 6 pm.
